The early years she lived in Houston, Texas and moved to San Diego, CA as a teenager. She received her International Business degree at San Diego State University and started working in the mortgage business while going to college in 1990.  She has been originating mortgages since 1995 and started her career working with realtors and specializing in down payment assistance programs. In 2003, she opened her own mortgage company in San Diego and operated it for 10 years.  She moved to Hawaii in 2012 and continues to work with clients and realtors from California and Hawaii.

Heidi is very involved in her community at the Heart Ranch as an equine professional volunteer.  She mentors children during the 6 week sessions in creating positive relationships with horses and moving it forward into their personal lives. She is also active in creating community connections through the Hilo Book Club, Hilo Women’s Club, Orchid Society and other friend groups.

Heidi is known for her mortgage expertise.  She has worked in every part of the mortgage business, from the loan servicing department, underwriting, funding/closing, document drawing, managing and owning a mortgage company and originating many different types of home loans. She prides herself on creating a positive home loan experience for her clients.

During down time, Heidi loves to walk and listen to music at the park and enjoy the natural beauty of Hawaii.  She loves to read, sing, groom and care for horses, have game night with friends, go to yoga, and enjoys musical concerts. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family and playing with her 3 dogs and cat.
